Brian E. Kern Founder
Brian attended Christian Brothers College, Memphis Tennessee, in the Civil Engineer program. He and his wife Dorothy, founded Kern Konstruction in 1970. Dorothy’s business acumen and her engaging personality was an important part of the company’s early success. In the early years, he worked along side his staff and sub-contractors on hundreds of projects. Brian has personally worked in the trades involved in these projects. His hands on experience gives him great insight into project needs and expectations. Brian continues to work with his son Carson to insure the clients absolute satisfaction.

Carson graduated from Michigan State University with a B.A. in Marketing and after graduation joined the firm full time. He now uses his previous years of experience and his degree to serve him well. Carson’s Marketing background has helped Kern Konstruction to add major clients to their already impressive list. He will guide Kern Konstruction into the next generation of excellence in construction.

Sven Mollberg Head Project Manager/Estimator
Sven started in the 1970's as a master carpenter. He quickly advanced to construction manager and superintendent with major firms in Florida and Illinois. In 1997 he joined Kern Konstruction. With hundreds of projects to his credit, he is a valuable addition to Kern Konstruction’s management team.
